The Wedding of the Year

23 Nov

No… it’s not the political wedding of A dan I. Nor the we-knew-the-marriage-will-fall-soon-after-the-honeymoon wedding of Kim Kardashian.

Oh yes, it could be the royal wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton. Hmmm… Yeah, probably that is the REAL wedding of the year.

Still, for me the wedding of the year goes to…. Bella & Edward Cullen’s.

They had a small yet super beautiful and romantic wedding i’ve ever seen in screen. Gosh! Me want it!

First of all, take a look at Bella’s engagement ring:

It’s not Solitaire, nor Princess cut. It’s kind of edgy in terms of the model yet still considered classy, with white diamonds sowing. Many diamonds, i should say.

Then, here comes the wedding details.

The lavish outdoor decoration…

Flowers.. flowers… White flowers everywhere.

Simple and elegant invitation card:

Over the top wedding cake:

Something blue.. something old for Bela was Granny Swan’s diamond and sapphire hair comb which is Family heirloom given by Charlie and Renee right before the wedding.

Bella’s shoes is Manolo Blahnik white satin pumps adorned with jeweled crystal clusters.

How pretty is that?

And.. what Bella’s wedding dress is a satin long-sleeved white gown with a boat-neck and belted waist. Designed by Carolina Herrera, FYI.

The cut out back is (OMG-take-my-breath-away) soo gorgeous! flanked by a French Chantilly lace frame and has 152 buttons.

With that uber stunning dress, Bella walked down the aisle to “Sleeping at Last” by Turning Page (oh, the lyric really fits to their love story)

Bella and Edward later shared their first dance as husband and wife to “Flightless Bird, American Mouth” by Iron & Wine, the same song they danced to at the prom (remember, twilight the movie? no, you didn’t watch it? sure you didn’t…)

What can i say? The wedding is so perfect!

Oh and don’t forget the honeymoon at Esme Island near Rio de Janeiro.
